looks for any rogue spaces or characters that slipped in during editing
can be done before or after formatting, based on your preference
includes at least two full passes
WHAT’S INCLUDED:

the manuscript is returned to you to after the first round; the second round is to ensure that the errors had been addressed and no others were introduced
comments and/or markups
on Word, errors will be flagged using Track Changes and comment balloons; on PDFs, errors can be flagged with either the comment feature or markups on the page (or a combination), depending on your preference
